1. Do you sleep 8 HOURS a day: the minimum recommended rest hours?
Ans: Your probably sleep for 4hrs a day

2. Are you faithful to your health enough to close at the CLOSING TIME at work?
Ans: No

3. Do you put off or silent your phone at night so that you have a sound sleep?
Ans: Not often or Not at all

4. When last did you go on vacation?
Ans: Not recently

5. Do you wish to live long?
Ans: Yes. Or is it a "No?"

If you answered the questions truthfully, you'll realize that you've not been faithful to your body and mind. I am serious... because you don't rest!

To say the least, and if you will tell yourself the truth, YOU ARE NOT DOING WELL. YOU ARE DOING TOO MUCH. Why not REST!!!

I used to be like you... I was a Rat-racer. I'd say stuffs like: my phone can never go off, the rich don't sleep so I must work harder, nobody can do the business like me, I have to be in tune with the trends and bla bla bla...

But one day, my wife and I were watching a pan-African tourism and cultural program, Goge Africa, where one of the hosts, Nneka, said, "If you want your business to grow, take vacation seriously"

At that time, I didn't understand that statement because I was a Rat-racer like you.

I woke up one Sunday morning and I just felt empty. I couldn't place it. I knew that I wanted to get better at everything I was doing but for one reason or the other, I needed my brain to reset.

Obviously, my wife noticed my unrest. Then, she came closer and said, "Why not take a break?" As a vibrant guy, I contested it. I said that I only needed a sleep, not a break! At that moment, she reminded me what Nneka said, "...take vacation seriously"

Suddenly, the meaning of the statement clicked... I HAVE TO BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT MY REST AND MENTAL HEALTH... Wow!

The following week, I took THREE DAYS OFF ALL MY WORKS PLUS MY PHONE and went on a vacation to REST AND REFRESH. That was a defining moment, an epiphany, that multiplied my business from ONE TO SEVEN types .
